Dr. Aana Shah is a consultant psychiatrist holding an MD degree in Psychiatry from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad (Gold Medalist) and a clinical Post-DoctoralFellow degree in Women's Mental Health from NIMHANS, Bangalore. Apart from experience with managing both acute and chronic psychiatric illnesses while training in these major centers, she has specific experience working with women with Perinatal (i.e. Pregnancy and Postpartum-adjacent) mental health issues such as Postpartum Depression, Postpartum Psychosis, Postpartum OCD and Anxiety, etc. She also has experience in the management of Child and Adolescent mental health issues and Trauma-related disorders such as Complex Trauma/cPTSD, PTSD; grief and bereavement; eating disorders, etc. Additionally, she has certification in Trauma-focused Psychotherapy and is currently enrolled in formal training for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) under Swasti Institute, affiliated with the Beck Institute.Dr. Aana Shah is a consultant psychiatrist holding an MD degree in Psychiatry from B.J.
