I am a Passionate Psychiatrist who believes helping fellow human being is the highest form of service to humankind and hence believes in empatheticlistening and responding rather than rushing to a diagnosis to prescribe some medications. I truly believe that treating a person with mental health issues could not only transform his/ her life but also his/ her family's. My strengths are listening with patience, empathy, a holistic approach to the person and their family, and not just the client's illness, and strong scientific knowledge. My core competency is in dealing with Neurodevelopmental disorders, Adolescent mental health issues, old age-related issues like dementia, depression, substance and behavioral addictions, anxiety spectrum disorders, OCD, Bipolar disorder, Psychosis, sleep-related issues, and sexual dysfunctions. However, my keen interest lies in dealing with Adolescents and the elderly population. To summarise, I am someone who believes Psychiatry is a field where Science and Humanity blend with a perfect mix, and life is not just managing stress and being free from illness but a journey to explore and enjoy with zeal and zest.
